You will need some linesman (flat) pliers with wire cutters, round-nosed pliers, a glass gem or marble, and some wire. I would suggest using bare copper ground wire, which is generally available in any hardware store. It is approximately 12-14 guage, and comes with 7 strands wrapped together. You may have to ask them to cut a length for you from a large spool, but is more economical that way!
